Description

This initiative is a partnership between Bergen Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and Portuguese Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.

The main objectives are to:
- foster opportunities for young and talented musicians in both countries, bringing them together and allowing them to share experiences in an open, friendly and exciting environment;
- create awareness to the sustainability and oceans preservations, as both countries are peripheral and maritime countries.

With concrete results, this project has united the Bergen and Portuguese Youth Philharmonics. It empowered young musicians and nurtured cultural exchange, bridging gaps and offering equal opportunities. The initiative also championed eco-friendly practices, utilizing trains and buses for travel, contributing to the environment. Collaborative performances solidified bilateral ties, while pursuing the initiative''s impact of enhancing relations through music.
