Description

Metalik Jsc is a fast developing big company with main activity in metal processing - manufacturing of big and small metal items and production of tailored metal constructions. The company was founded in 1978. The current shareholders acquired the company in 1997. The main activity has been maintained through the years. The company has been investing in optimizing and modernizing the processes, buildings, machineries and equipment. We have always been working towards reducing the production costs, increasing the production capacity and diversification of production portfolio. Our production activities comply with a number of international standards. In order to become more competitive and to be able to continue our development and to satisfy the increasing demand for our products and services, as well as to increase our market share. We need to ensure energy efficient production with high productivity. This will be achieved by replacement of morally obsolete equipment, which is a high- energy intensive and labor consuming, with a new Bevel Grinder with seam preparation prior to the welding. These operations are quite important for the quality of the end products. As a result of the project implementation, we shall achieve energy savings in electricity thus using at least 3 times less energy for the activity that is improved and 25,66% less for the whole industrial process compared to the current situation. The cost per pcs of product will be reduced. The production capacity for those activities will be increased 6 times- from 2800 tones metal constructions now to 12 600 tones after project implementation. The projects outcomes will be achieved in sustainable way through reduction of used energy and CO2 emissions’ saving and are fully in compliance with the objectives of the program and EEA Financial Mechanism. The existing jobs will be maintained and new jobs will be created. The working conditions will also be improved.
