Description

Project proposal objectives is to achieve using of renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy security in company "Nigal 7" Ltd. trough implementation in industrial process. Project activities included implementation energy efficiency measures prescribed in the Report on the energy efficiency audit. Whit them company will manage manufacturing reducing energy consumption and high-quality technology systems. Combining of technology upgrade with renewable sources for powered the machines is resources optimization process, costs and sources optimization to achieving product with needed industrial decisions, received trough environmentally friendly and neutral in climate changes. Implementation of new machines will help company to achieve growth, development and long-term perspective to improvement. In the other hand ensuring energy independence and power ensured for new techniques, from renewable energy will bring not only environmental manufacturing but also competitive production positioning on the international markets. Closed manufacturing circle will bring the company opportunity to control, planning, effectiveness, efficiency, monitoring and independence from foreign market factors, who positioning business last years in unequally position on fast growing prices. Energy intensity is one of the basic filed to define manufacturing costs, which increased the price of the product in significant base. With project realization the company will achieve competitive prices, high quality, clear production and process monitoring, planning, independence form external sources, increasing the production capacity with use of renewable resources.

Summary of project results

The project includes activities related to the implementation of energy-saving measures, leading to an increase in the efficiency of industrial processes carried out in the industrial system of the enterprise. The combination of new technological solutions with new methods of supplying energy to them is a completely production-oriented solution that will help the company to increase productivity, quality, energy independence and an environmentally friendly work policy for the coming years, aimed at reducing the impact on climate change. The project also includes control over energy consumption processes in order to clearly and accurately assess the production stages and reduce excess consumption, which is a significant positive effect of the implementation of new technological solutions.

As a result of the project implementation, the following results have been achieved: 1. improvement of energy efficiency in the industry - by purchasing 3 injection molding machines with significantly lower energy consumption, higher productivity and speed; 2. increase in energy production from renewable sources - by installing a photovoltaic power plant for the production of RES to power the machines planned under the project; 3. a system for measuring and controlling energy consumption has been put into operation.

The project aims to reduce carbon intensity and increase security of supply through optimization and implementation of energy efficient solutions and technologies, as well as more effective management and reduction of energy consumption. Improving energy efficiency in industry will have a positive impact in terms of economic growth and job creation, and saving energy will also lead to saving financial resources. The company will operate and develop at full potential by offering quality products.

As a result of the project implementation the following main results are achieved: - 460.01 t CO2 / g achieved emission savings; - 373.72 MWh / y achieved energy savings; - 91 289.30 EUR / year achieved money savings
