Behr-Hella Thermocontrol" EOOD is a division of the leading German manufacturer of Behr-Hella Thermocontrol (BHTC). The company develops and manufactures electronics for air conditioning systems for the automotive industry. The VNTS group employs more than 2,000 employees, working both at the headquarters in Germany and in Bulgaria, China, India, Japan, the USA and Mexico. The company entered the Bulgarian market for the first time in 2013, and in 2015 the production plant was put into operation in the Sofia Industrial Zone in Bozhurishte municipality. The company''s product program includes panels and devices for servicing and controlling automotive air conditioning systems, climate sensors, air controllers, PTC glass heaters, etc. BHTC covers the entire process from product design to manufacturing of the complete climate control system, combining diverse fields of expertise from software, electronics and mechanics to all technologies required for the development and production of existing and future operating and display elements. The products that are developed and manufactured are mainly divided into two categories: - Products for car air conditioning and passenger comfort - Information touch devices of a new generation The company''s clients are many world leaders such as Audi, Volkswagen, General Motors, BMW, Daimler, etc. The current project proposal is aimed at reducing the carbon intensity and increasing the energy efficiency of the production building. This will be achieved through investments in an Energy Consumption Measurement and Control System, the implementation of a waste heat capture and reuse system, the construction of a solar thermal system to support the fresh air drying process, and the implementation of an Energy Management System compressed air.
