Description

The initiative''s objective is to establish a framework with clear guidelines for optimal energy harvesting solutions in Croatian islands. First, the current state of renewable energy harvesting on islands will be analysed.  Islands with good practice will be identified and several islands with the greatest demand and potential will be chosen for in-depth analysis of terrain specifics and meteorological conditions (amount of wind, solar energy, tide potential). The implications of each renewable solution will be evaluated by considering energy output, installation, maintenance cost, and grid
