More information
Description
The main idea of the project is to start and implement a training and awareness programme addressed at several levels, starting from the top decision makers from the involved consortium partners, executive employees from the same entities and general public from the local communities involved. The approached topics are: how to initiate and build nearly zero energy buildings – nZEB, how to perform a deep renovation of a household or of a public or private building, how to adopt energy efficiency measures related to the technical systems, energy monitoring, behavioural change, energy contracting, how to install renewable energy sources at local level, how to become a prosumer etc.
The project will contribute to the following indicators:
Outcome indicators:
- level of self-reported desirability for renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy security (6/7);
- level of self-reported knowledge of renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy security (7/7);
- people self-reporting enhanced capacity/skills related to renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy security: 150
- people self-reporting on improved knowledge related to renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy security: 300
Output indicators:
a. Number of awareness raising campaigns = 6
b. Number of people completing comprehensive (more than 2 days) trainings on renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy security implemented = 20
c. Number of people completing credit giving education at tertiary level = 10
d. Number of people completing short (less than 2 days) trainings on renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy security implemented = 150
e. Number of people reached by the awareness-raising on renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy security campaigns = 300.
Summary of project results
The main objective of the project was to increase the knowledge and awareness level regarding the energy efficiency and renewable energy at various levels.
A training and awareness programme addressed at several levels, starting from the top decision makers from the involved consortium partners, executive employees from the same entities and general public from the local communities involved was implemented.
Following the implementation of the project, participants have reported higher knowledge regarding energy efficiency, renewable energy and energy security.
Summary of bilateral results
The presence of the Østfold University College has enforced the bilateral relation between the Donor State and the Beneficiary State. Also, after the project lifetime, further collaboration is foreseen.
