The project is aimed at creating opportunities for employment and increasing the qualifications of unemployed persons and/or persons from vulnerable groups, by introducing innovative approaches for providing information about jobs, for improving the organization of work and for acquiring professional knowledge, skills and competencies. General objective: Introduction of innovative approaches aimed at stimulating economic activity and creating jobs in the town of Dimitrovgrad. Specific objectives: 1. To improve the opportunities for employment in the local market; 2. To introducing an innovative approach to providing job information to unemployed persons and/or persons from vulnerable groups and their inclusion in the labor market. 3. To stimulate the employment and improve the organization of work to improve the competitiveness of the local market. 4. To improve the qualifications of the identified unemployed persons and/or vulnerable groups by conducting trainings.

Summary of project results

The main challenges addressed by the project was to create opportunities for employment and improve the qualifications of unemployed people and/or people from vulnerable groups, as well as improve the organization of work of the project promoter.

A specialized HECATON event was held to identify the opportunities and needs of unemployed people/people from vulnerable groups for inclusion in the local labor market. Four unemployed people were selected and appointed full time in the project promoter''s organization. Specialized training to prevent stress problems, create a balance between work and life and build emotional resilience of newly employed persons was provided. Staff evaluation software was provided. An innovative approach was introduced for development of local employment on the territory of Dimitrovgrad municipality. Training on software solutions was provided for unemployed people. Training on working in a virtual team was provided for unemployed to improve their opportunities for employment and increase their qualification.

Investments were made in an innovative approach for development of local employment. An innovative approach and an innovative practice to optimize the work process, including through remote work, were introduced, as follows: Development of innovative approach to provide information on jobs and personnel selection (PSA 3) - HECATON event was organized and held; Unemployed people/people from vulnerable groups were appointed (PSA 2) – Four unemployed people who achieved the highest results at the HEKATHON event were appointed full-time in the position of Software Developer; Specialized training to prevent stress problems, create work-life balance and build emotional resilience of new employees was provided; Training to unemployed people/people from vulnerable groups was provided, as follows: Two trainings were prepared and conducted, one on program security and one on working in a virtual team, with a view to improve the opportunities for employment and increase the qualifications of unemployed people.
