The project is aimed at creating opportunities for employment and increasing the qualifications of unemployed persons and/or persons from vulnerable groups, by introducing innovative approaches for providing information about jobs, for improving the organization of work and for acquiring professional knowledge, skills and competencies. General objective: Introduction of innovative approaches aimed at stimulating economic activity and creating jobs in Bansko. Specific objectives: 1. To improve the opportunities for employment (in accordance with priority 2.1. of the Strategy for effective local development by activating existing territorial resources in partnership with the local community, civic structure and business (2021–2027) of Bansko municipality). 2. To introduce an innovative approach to providing job information to unemployed persons and/or persons from vulnerable groups and to the labor market. 3. To stimulate the employment and improve the organization of work to improve the competitiveness of the local market. 4. To improve the qualifications of the identified unemployed persons and/or vulnerable groups by conducting trainings.
Summary of project results
The challenges addressed by the project were to create opportunities for employment and improve the qualifications of unemployed people and/or people from vulnerable groups, as well as improve the project promoter''s organization of work.
An informational and career forum was held to identify the opportunities and needs of unemployed people and people from vulnerable groups for inclusion in the local labor market. After the selection process, eight (8) people people were employed full time. A cloud-based solution was developed for virtual work. An innovative approach for the development of local employment on the territory of Bansko municipality was introduced. Training on digital competence (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint work skills) was provided for unemployed people/people from vulnerable groups. Training on business services was provided for unemployed people/people from vulnerable groups. The project resulted in improved opportunities for employment and increased qualification of unemployed people/people from vulnerable groups.
Investments were made in an innovative approach to the development of local employment Introducing an innovative approach to providing information about jobs and an innovative practice to optimize the work process, including through remote work: Development of an innovative approach to providing information on jobs and personnel selection (PSA 3) - a specialized information-career forum was organized and held for unemployed people from the municipality; Appointment of Unemployed people/people from vulnerable groups were appointed (PSA2) – 8 unemployed people, who achieved the highest results at the information and career forum held, were appointed full-time for the position of Expert in information assurance; The work process was optimized by introducing an innovative practice of organizing work in a virtual environment (PSA 2) - a cloud solution for virtual work was developed and implemented; Unemployed people were trained, as follows: 1. Preparation and conducting of 2 trainings, one on digital competence (including acquiring skills for working with Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and one on business services, with a view to improving the opportunities for employment and increasing the qualifications of unemployed people.
