Description

The project is aimed at creating opportunities for employment and increasing the qualifications of unemployed persons and/or persons from vulnerable groups, by introducing innovative approaches for providing information about jobs, for improving the organization of work and for acquiring professional knowledge, skills and competencies. Specific goals: 1) Investments in education and skills for successful employment (in accordance with priority 2.2.1 of the Strategy for effective local development by activating the existing territorial resources in partnership with the local community, civil structures and business (2021 - 2027) of Lyaskovets municipality; 2) To introduce an innovative approach to providing job information to unemployed persons and/or persons from vulnerable groups and their inclusion in the labor market; 3) To stimulate employment and improve the organization of work to enhance the competitiveness of the local market; 4) To improve the qualifications of the identified unemployed persons and/or vulnerable groups by conducting specialized training.

Summary of project results

In view of the high level of unemployment in the region, the project created opportunities for employment and improved qualifications of unemployed people, and led to improvement of the organization of work of one of the employing companies in the municipality.

An innovative approach for provision of information about jobs and innovative practice to optimize the work process to increase competitiveness in the local market, were introduced under the project. One unemployed person was appointed full-time in the position of Car Service Manager, directly responsible for the new services introduced by the beneficiary, for the conduct of in-house training, for the selection of personnel and for the organization of the work process. Specialized training was provided in connection with the implementation of innovative car safety technology. Innovative continuous process of in-house training and preparation (training center) was developed and implemented. Digitized content was developed to visualize the methods and specifics of the work carried on by the beneficiary.

The project has resulted in the development of an innovative approach to providing online job opportunities and recruitment information; selection and appointment of one unemployed person full time; conduct of training for newly appointed persons to implement innovative technology for car safety in the newly established educational and training center in the beneficiary’s premises; creation of digitized content (video clips, photos, educational and training content) about the beneficiary’s workflow that was published online; purchase of equipment to support the introduced innovative practice.
