Summary of the results

The activities were implemented in accordance with the plan . The first team meeting took place in Pilsen (CZ) in April 2023. In mid 2023 six Czech participants made a study trip to Norway. In December 2023 the presentation of the Norwegian Funds and an online lecture by the NO partner was given to  the audience at Palacký University. The students of the Management Science program had the opportunity to meet their Norwegian colleagues. In March 2024  the "Academic Institutions in a Changing World" international conference was organized at Palacký University in Olomouc.  Keynote speakers were Ann-Hélen Bay from Oslo Metropolitain University and Jaroslav Miller, Rector Emeritus of Palacký University in Olomouc/the current Deputy Minister of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic. The conference featured presentations of findings in the field of university management and further development of academic institutions.

The second output of the project was the joint science study. The text entitled "Changes in academic career assessment - a comparison of Norway and the Czech Republic" (22 pgs) was prepared, summarising the discussions among the project team members, and it about to be submitted to the international peer-reviewed journal Higher Education for the Future, published by Sage.

The planned Project evaluation via questionaries – a methodological document summarising experiences and examples of good practice – was created and remains open for updates.
