The Association and Partners have already cooperated on various projects and plan to continue this cooperation. The play directed as part of the project will be performed for at least 2 years after the end of the project as part of various theater festivals. The partnership of entities involved in the project will continue in the long term. Our Association is planning to open the People''s University in Hajnówka.
LOCAL, REGIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Project activities will take place in towns far from large cities and with limited access to culture: Hajnówka (PL) 21,000. inhabitants, Mierzyn (PL) 10 thousand, Lufthus (NO). Artistic activities (performance) will be organized in the forest space in three locations: in Hajnówka and Mierzyn (PL) and Lofthus (NO). Admission to our events will be free for participants, so that material issues do not constitute a barrier to participation. Another initiative involving the local community is its participation in creating a painting on the wooden facade of a building in Hajnówka - a wooden mural. Together with representatives of national minorities, we will develop a concept and select appropriate photos. The work itself will be carried out in an open public space, and ultimately the work of art will remain, constituting a form of an open urban gallery. Thanks to the mural, every tourist, traveler or resident will have contact with the history of the place and references to multiculturalism, traditions and the thread of national minorities. In the long term, we plan to create a People''s University in Hajnówka, and the experience of working with two institutions of this type (from Mierzyn and Lofthus) will allow us to better understand the operation of this type of organization. This project is intended to be a prelude to our future joint activities. The involvement of local media in Poland and Norway in the promotion and information will ensure the international impact of the project.
