Description

The aim of the visit is to gain experience and exchange of ideas about the work of the Barnahus model in practice and implement it in Latvian model. 

Summary of the results

It was an onsite experience exchange visit to Norway. Participants of the delegation were representatives from Ministry of Welfare, State Inspectorate of the Rights of the Child, Prosecutor''s office, State police and University Children''s hospital.  Delegation visited Barnahus in Norway. The aim of the visit was to gain experience and exchange of ideas about the work of the Barnahus model in practice and further implement it successfully in Latvian Barnahus model.  Initiative was related to the project "Support to the implementation of Barnahus in Latvia".  The aim of the project is to strengthen child support system in Latvia and create multidiscilinary and multisectoral cooperation model for children, who suffer from violence. Very good relationships were created, which will last further.
