The aim of Love Does Not Exclude Association (LDNE) is to bring marriage equality and equality for LGBT+ families in Poland. The organisation conducts education and social campaigns, supports local initiatives targeting the LGBT+ community, and conducts advocacy and litigation to build political will to change the law.
LDNE not only introduced the concept of marriage equality into the public debate, but co-authored 3 bills on civil partnerships submitted to the Sejm in 2012-18 by 3 political parties, and drafted its own bill on marriage equality and led to its submission to the Sejm in 2020.
The organisation''s advocacy led to the signing of the Warsaw LGBT+ Declaration, which, among other things, led to the creation of intervention flats for LGBT+ people at risk of homelessness, funded by the city. In March 2019, at the initiative of the organisation, an LGBT+ Congress was held, where 27 organisations from all over Poland signed a joint Declaration - a list of political demands and legislative projects. This document is the basis for the work of the Parliamentary Group for LGBT+ People and the programme of one of the political parties in the Sejm.
LDNE produced the first documentary on marriage inequality in Poland, and carried out the largest outdoor campaign on LGBT+ people (''Love me, mum and dad'' - 696 billboards in 266 towns and cities) combined with financial support for 8 aid initiatives for LGBT+ people across the country. The organisation also runs the Law Does Not Exclude Fund, which offers funding for legal care for LGBT+ people in difficult life situations.
With the organizational grant, the LDNE will strengthen community outreach by establishing a mini-grant programme, the Fund at Home, for 10 local initiatives from towns with a population of less than 200,000. It will update and complement its IT infrastructure, develop individual fundraising, and make changes to the management of its team''s work.

Thanks to an organizational grant, the organisation strengthened its community outreach activities by launching a mini-grant programme - Fund u Siebie (22 microgrants were awarded to local initiatives from towns with a population of less than 200 000) and creating a group of people identifying themselves as LDNE ambassadors in smaller towns in Poland (42 people). LDNE updated and completed its IT infrastructure (new website, CRM, action page), carried out a process of changing the way the organisation is managed. There were 8 trainings to strengthen the competencies of the team and the Board.
The main results of the organizational grant were the strengthening of the management within the organisation and the competences of the team, the strengthening of individual fundraising capacity and community outreach, the increase of LDNE ''s active presence in smaller towns.
