Description

The project implementer is the Diocesan Charity of České Budějovice (hereinafter DCHCB), which operates the Intervention Center for Persons at Risk of Domestic Violence (IC) in the South Bohemian Region. The project builds on IC''s many years of experience and practice with the victims of domestic violence. The project will include victims of gender-based violence as a new target group to its operations. Generally, it responds to the need for closer cooperation between the various stakeholders assisting the victims of domestic and gender-based violence. The project also reflects on the need raise awareness about the activities of organizations assisting the victims of domestic and gender-based violence in the South Bohemian Region. The main goal of the project is to provide coordinated and systematic support to victims of domestic and gender-based violence through the creation of a functional interdisciplinary platform. Other goals are to increase the professional capacity of the stakeholders involved in providing assistance to the victims of domestic and gender-based violence and to raise awareness of the activities of the organizations operating in the field of providing assistance to these victims among the professionals as well as the general public. The DCHCB Intervention Center will coordinate the platform''s activities. The project will set up a working group of representatives of the relevant stakeholders. It will create the rules for cooperation within the platform and set the procedures for exchanging and sharing information. Project’s experts will implement capacity-building activities designed for professionals involved in the interdisciplinary platform and focused on assistance to the victims of domestic and gender-based violence.
