Description
The project aims to develop a comprehensive package of integrated quality health services, with innovative character by providing concrete measures for 4000 people from vulnerable groups, including 800 Roma, for a period of 18 months, with several components, as follows:
a) Establishment of a radiology department within the project, which will serve in the long term the vulnerable population of Bucharest, with priority in Sector 6 of the Capital.
b) A preventive health services component, including health screening and radiology services, which will serve 4000 vulnerable people, including 800 Roma people, in Bucharest, with priority in Sector 6 of the Capital.
c) A component of therapeutic mental health services for 100 people with psychiatric diagnosis and 50 of their relatives.
d) A training component for 50 people from the health system. The training aims at improving professional skills, effective communication with members of vulnerable groups and providing improved health services.
e) An information and awareness-raising campaign to raise awareness on access to preventive health services among vulnerable groups, addressing the prevention of respiratory diseases (including TB) and the health of vulnerable groups in general and people with mental health problems in particular.
