Description

The aim of the project is to organize holiday educational workshops for Ukrainian refugees staying in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
The workshop program will meet the needs of the dominant groups of refugees residing in Poland, i.e. women and their children:
1. Raising the level of their sense of security, reducing the level of stress, dealing with fears and negative feelings
2. Developing competences necessary for active participation in social and economic life
3. The need to integrate refugees from Ukraine with the local community
4. Supporting the development of peer groups of

Summary of the results

The aim of the project was to organize holiday educational workshops for Ukrainian refugees staying in the territory of the
Republic of Poland. The workshop program was created to meet the needs of the dominant groups of refugees residing in
Poland, i.e. women and their children:
1. Raising the level of their sense of security, reducing the level of stress, dealing with fears and negative feelings
2. Developing competences necessary for active participation in social and economic life
3. The need to integrate refugees from Ukraine with the local community
4. Supporting the development of peer groups of Ukrainian children
These aims have been reached, the project has been implemented in accordance with the application.
For adult participants, we organized workshops with a psychologist, a neurologist, alpaca therapy, dog therapy, yoga classes,
respiratory meditation, as well as lessons of Polish and English. Workshops included:
• dealing with trauma
• coping with stress, regaining a sense of security and harmony
• in the field of healthcare in Poland
• from personal development
• vocational activation, training to improve qualifications, language courses and active job search and CV
• increasing social competences.
Activities intended for children included elements of integration, education, sports and those affecting the well-being of
participants. They were selected according to their age.
