Description
The aim of this project is to increase the competitiveness and productivity of SIA “AB METAL” by introducing environmentally friendly, energy efficient and innovative production line for stainless steel, aluminum and other non-ferrous sheet metal processing under Industry 4.0. This project is in line with the company''s vision to be a sustainable leader in precision metalworking, based on innovative, high value-added flexible manufacturing technologies.

Within the scope of the project, in accordance with the procurement and technical specification, digital program control optical fiber laser cutting technology will be purchased and delivered. The contract was concluded, payments were made according to the contract and the equipment was delivered to SIA "AB METAL".
Within the scope of the project, in accordance with the procurement and technical specification, a multi-stage grinding machine with an automatic feeding system will be purchased and delivered. The contract was concluded, payments were made according to the contract and the equipment was delivered to SIA "AB METAL".
Within the scope of the project, by installing the digital program control combined sheet and tube fiber optic laser cutting machine and the Multi-stage grinding machine with an automatic feed system, testing of the technological line will be ensured according to the business plan attached to the project application, in order to ensure its compliance with the quality and efficiency requirements set by the company
One new job created, expected export will reach 15%, 14,1 t/year CO2 emission reduction, energy savings 207,90 MWh/year.
Purchased and tested of both machines and common line testing has been carried out. The newly introduced technological line meets the quality and efficiency requirements set by the company.
Summary of bilateral results
During the project, regular working groups will be held with the project partner - both to discuss the stages of project implementation and their compliance with the planned, as well as experience exchange meetings with Norwegian companies (depending on the need and epidemiological safety measures established in the countries - meetings can take place both remotely and in person).
