Description
Development of high quality new cultural products for children and youth audience within the EEA Grants Programme “Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Cultural Cooperation” open call “Support for the Creation of Professional Art and Cultural Products for Children and Youth” makes significant contribution for sustainability of the cultural education program “Latvian school bag” and similar programs in the donor countries. Summary of the results
Results of the visit are:
a) strengthened partnerships between the Ministry of Culture, programme “Latvian School Bag”, the Arts Council Norway and Cultural Schoolbag (DKS);
b) exchanged information on programme progress, best practice examples and targets of cultural policy of new planning period between the Ministry of Culture and the Arts Council Norway;
c) increased mutual knowledge and understanding and exchanged of best practice in creating cultural offer for children and youth and in understanding the role of culture and art as a tool for social inclusion.
