Description
The objective of the event is to promote the interest among Latvian entities about the space industry, well as to promote the formation of a cooperation network, exchange of experience, knowledge, technology and example of best practices between Latvian businesses and Norwegian institutions.
There will be selected 5 Latvian enterprises to attend the study trip.
Summary of the results
The Programme Operator in cooperation with the Innovation Norway organized the study trip to Norway with the aim of exploring the ecosystem of the Norwegian space industry program and looking for new cooperation partners in this field. During the event, 8 LV companies visited the largest Norwegian space industry players - Andoya Space Center, Kongsberg Space, Kjeller Innovation and Space Incubator; The Norwegian Space Center and NIFRO, Innovation Norway''s representative office in Bodo, where the LV delegation listened to 10 presentations on potential ways and opportunities for cooperation in the field of space with Norway. Latvian companies also gave 40 presentations. LIAA representatives gave 3 presentations about the Latvian ecosystem in the space industry. As a result, 9 new contacts and at least 2 new long-term cooperation partners were obtained.
