Main objective: to position the digital cultural and heritage interdisciplinary approach for the Timisoara ECC, with a focus on the Spotlight Heritage Timisoara project

The secondary objectives:
• Presenting the Timisoara European Capital of Culture digital projects and the Spotlight Heritage Timisoara project to the Norwegian public 
• Showcasing the cultural dimensions of immersive technologies during the International Digital Culture & Heritage Festival in Timisoara and Norway
• Strengthening the collaboration between the artists, historian, cultural actors and technologists and digital

Summary of the results

The International Digital Culture & Spotlight Heritage Festival (in Romania) was held in multiple locations in Timișoara between May 4 and August 30, 2023. The festival brought together curators, digital artists, teachers and students from Romania, Norway, USA, Austria , Italy, Denmark, Lithuania and other countries in a manifestation of incursion into the cultural dimensions of immersive digital technologies.

The International Digital Culture & Spotlight Heritage Festival (in Norway) was held in Norway from August 25 to September 1, 2023. For a week, reality merged with the virtual, and the history of the capital city of Banat was revealed to a Norwegian audience diverse. The event, which took place in three locations in Norway—Trondheim, Grimstad and Oslo—gathered 2,000 participants in total, each location contributing its own unique and vibrant atmosphere, with audiences ranging from students, teachers, cultural figures, diplomats, together with children, teenagers and Romanian, Norwegian and other nationalities tourists.
