Summary of the results

Through the working visits made by the Romanian delegation to Norway and Sweden, an exchange of experience with a great impact on both sides was achieved. For example, during the meeting at the Norwegian Film Institute, the director Cristian Mungiu, part of the Documentor delegation, gave a presentation about the various methods of film production, talked about the conditions and sources of financing and there were discussions about possible collaborations of co- Romanian-Norwegian film production.
The discussions during the conference, between the local authorities in western Romania and the Norwegian experts from the delegation team, were the basis of the statute and the founding documents (which are being worked on at the beginning of 2024) of the regional film center.
During the online meetings, email exchanges, but especially through the trip of the Norwegian delegation to Romania, an exchange of good practice was carried out, our Norwegian partners coming with proposals and ideas for the amendment of the new cinematography law in Romania. This new law is to enter the parliament and then new discussions will follow in which the Documentor team will also participate.
