Description

The mission of the partnership between the Full-Learning Experience and Children for Future Association is to support the educational path of gymnasium students who come from disadvantaged backgrounds in Bucharest. 30 children from the target group are enrolled in 2 schools from Bucharest,  grades V-VIII. They have critical educational deficiencies, second grade level represented by the lack of basic knowledge: reading, writing, comprehension of texts, deficiencies in the fixed sciences (mathematics, sciences) and are grouped in special classes so as not to "mix" with children from other social clusters, thus violating their rights to education and equal treatment. In 2020 they could no longer benefit from offline school and registered regression caused by the pandemic and family situations representative of the group (lack of a parent, domestic violence, lack of privacy, financial problems, bullying, lack of utilities, etc.), and now refuse to study. The Full Learning Experience Association offers opportunities to children through modern technologies, facilitating access to effective digital learning solutions. The project creates an individual rehabilitation plan adapted to the environment in which they live, focusing on notions of personal and educational development online and offline: writing / reading, composition, mathematics, science and notions of informal education to understand emotions and social context. Combined with inclusion actions and continuous mentoring of the partner, will be create a connection between children''s academic development, emotional management and an active support community, which can be based on their needs throughout the 12 months. Project will activate children''s motivation during a year through positive pedagogical practices, workshops, courses and individual sessions supported by digital materials and working sessions with carefully selected experts.
