Main objective: Enhancing the capacity of the cultural sector through developing an integrating training and mentoring program, cultural mediation, exchanges of experience and curatorship in the context of Timisoara ECC 2023.
Main activities:
• Autumn Curatorial School 2023 - education program about curatorial practices, in order to learn experimental theories and practices and share knowledge through the main tool of this project: the intersection of art, knowledge and society
• Training and mentoring program 2023 - aims to accompany the professional development of those working in the cultural
Summary of the results
The Training and Mentoring Program proved to be an important tool for increasing the capacity of the cultural sector in the context of Timișoara - European Capital of Culture 2023. The main objective of the program, to develop an integrated training and mentoring program, was achieved with a significant impact on the professionalism and skills of cultural professionals. Through the program, participants had the opportunity to develop their skills in areas such as ethics, digitization, economics and the new governance rules for culture and the arts. Also, the program addressed the transformation of cultural institutions and highlighted the role of education in this context, thus contributing to increasing the level of training and professionalism among the participants.
