Summary of the results
Under the initiative, each turnout lasted 10 days from 15/08/2022 to 31/08/2022. The workshops shaped the competencies necessary for active participation in social and economic life. They included 4 thematic modules: Personal, Therapeutic, Administrative and Professional Development. During the participation of mothers in the workshops, their children were taken care of in the form of integration and education classes. The classes were implemented in 3 age groups. Their purpose was to support the multifaceted development of peer groups of Ukrainian children. Meetings for all groups included elements of Polish language learning, adapted to the age of the recipient groups. All activities undertaken in the project were tailored to the target group to which they are addressed. The project also included opportunities for the recipient group to enjoy local tourist attractions. The project goals were achieved. 60 refugee women increased their level of social competence aimed at personal development and social integration, alleviated psychological problems resulting from finding themselves in a crisis situation, acquired skills in the use of Polish public institutions, including health care, and acquired the ability to navigate the Polish labor market and actively seek employment.
