Summary of the results
There were two main outputs of the project on industrial topography of Norway, Iceland and CR: 1/ an international conference held on June 18 2024 in Prague, attended by Christer (Studio Granda, IS) and Dagur Eggertsonn (Rintala Eggertsonn, NO) and participants from CR, e.g. Dan Merta from Architectura, Jan Zikmund from Czech Technical University or Marek Pokorny from Plato Ostrava. The conference was attended by almost 70 professionals who appreciated the entries of all speakers and an exhibition held between June 18 - 30 2024 in Zizkov Freight Railway Station in Prague. After the end of the conference, the exhibition was attended by more than 200 satisfied visitors. These both activities led to the second output, 2/ the deepening of mutual cooperation between partners from donor states and our organization.
The cooperation with all partners was friendly. All partners took part in preparing of the project (exhibition), discussing new trends in industrial conversion and the best way of presenting the successful example of industrial conversion to the Czech public. The partners shared their opinions and ideas, brought suggestions for the overall concept of the exhibition - which projects to include and which to mention at the conference. Two members arrived in Prague for a personal presentation of their entries at a conference - that is a point worth mentioning - the presence of Mr Sami Rintala and Mr Steve Christer at Prague conference.
