The aim of the project is to develop cultural cooperation between creators, participants of cultural life and cultural institutions, and to strengthen bilateral relations between Poland and Norway, development of entrepreneurship in the field of culture, as well as strengthening the competences of specialists in the cultural sector in order to improve the management of cultural heritage, as well as audience development and cultural and artistic education of residents.

Summary of project results

The implementation of the project results from the need to develop cultural cooperation between creators, participants of cultural life and cultural institutions, which will strengthen bilateral relations between Poland and Norway. Further goals are: the development of entrepreneurship in the field of culture, as well as strengthening the competences of specialists from the cultural sector in order to improve the management of cultural heritage and the development of the audience and cultural and artistic education of residents.Trainings, workshops, organization of concerts and other cultural events, learning to play instruments and interinstitutional cooperation contributed to meeting these needs and achieving the above goals. A film documenting and introducing elements of Polish and Norwegian culture will have a great impact on their promotion in our region and beyond.

The aim of the project is to develop cultural cooperation between creators, participants of cultural life and cultural institutions, strengthen bilateral relations between Poland and Norway, develop entrepreneurship in the field of culture, as well as strengthen the competences of specialists from the cultural sector in order to improve the management of cultural heritage, as well as develop the audience and cultural and artistic education of residents. The scope of the project includes training, workshops, organization of concerts and other cultural events, learning to play instruments and interinstitutional cooperation. The entire project will end with a promotional film documenting and introducing elements of Polish and Norwegian culture.The project will consist of 5 activities based on partnership and cooperation with institutions in Norway:1) Increasing the competences of employees of cultural institutions in Poland.2) Cultural workshops for residents of the Kocierzew Południowy Commune.3) Organization of local concerts.4) Organization of international concerts.5) "From striped to fjord" - promotional video from the project.

The most important result of the project are vocal and theater or folk dance workshops, constituting cultural heritage and modern dance, as well as inter-institutional cooperation - all this contributed to the joint creation of small and large artistic events. These activities influenced the development of the audience, contributing to an increase in interest in artistic events and thus an increase in the cultural competences of the commune''s inhabitants. Moreover, they also contributed to reaching groups that rarely participate in cultural life.

Workshops conducted by folk artists, including: cutting, embroidery, tissue paper and painting, the skills of which are part of the cultural heritage, resulted in an increase in interest in handicrafts and contributed to its popularization.The opportunity to learn to play instruments for free and the participation of residents in workshops and training conducted by professionals additionally resulted in even greater interest in music, dancing, singing, and creating amateur films. Thanks to the implementation of the project, members of a folk band cultivating the traditions of the region, performing in original costumes from Łowicz and Kocierzew, presenting ancient rituals, among others. wedding or harvest festival in beautiful artistic programs, they had the opportunity to show and promote our culture, also abroad.

Summary of bilateral results

Cooperation with AKKS - the Norwegian Partner was based on general communication and planning activities in 2023 - trips and concerts planned as part of the project. Due to the fact that the Norwegian Partner has extensive experience in organizing workshops and training, the project includes, among others: in staff education, AKKS helped in creating recruitment regulations for music workshops. AKKS was also involved in the organization of substantive activities that were carried out in Norway, i.e.: organized music workshops for young people from Poland and workshops for representatives of cultural staff from Poland, supervised concerts in Norway, and was responsible for the involvement of artists performing in the Solidarity show in Poland. AKKS was responsible for settling the funds received for this purpose.
