The general public will have the opportunity to participate in the project events.

Summary of project results

The overall goal was to raise awareness about human rights and discrimination in the workplace for people with disabilities (PWD) and for caregivers (OP), who care for a family member with disabilities. Further educating and training the public in this field. During this project we have created basic socio-legal courses and employee in social services. At public events - expos, cafeshop in motion, we have introduced products for people with disabilities and activities of disabled people. We have organized multiple meetings for caregivers as well as initiated workshops for people with disabilities and the general public. On the topic of living with a disability, we held meetings at several high schools. Thanks to this project, we were able to show the public that people with disabilities are able to participate in activities and not just receive help. This project has also greatly contributed to caregivers who thanks to the use of personal assistants could participate in the activities. The goal of these workshops was to combine the "two worlds". Raising awareness at schools was beneficial as students volunteered to help during one time activities that OZP organizes. During meetings caregives were able to share experiences, make new contacts and gain a support of a psychologist so at the end they did not feel alone and excluded for the society.
