Description
With this project proposal, Rila Municipality applies for funding to support the "Aleksi Rilets" Museum''s efforts to improve the conditions for preservation, management and presentation of cultural values. "Aleksi Rilets" Museum, as a cultural institute promotes, studies and preserves the cultural and historical heritage of the city and the settlements of the region. The funds of the museum store over 1200 fund units of movable cultural monuments. The rich cultural and historical heritage offers great potential for economic growth, increased employment and greater social cohesion. In order to use this potential, investments are needed to preserve the cultural heritage and to revive part of it, so that it can be used by present and future generations.
