With this project proposal, Historical Museum - Pavlikeni applies for funding to support the museum''s efforts to improve the conditions for preservation, management and presentation of cultural values. Pavlikeni Historical Museum, as a cultural institute preserves, promotes , studies and preserves the cultural and historical heritage of the city and the settlements of the region. The funds of the museum store over 26,000 fund units of movable cultural monuments. The rich cultural and historical heritage offers great potential for economic growth, increased employment and greater social In order to use this potential, investments are needed to preserve the cultural heritage and to revive part of it, so that it can be used by present and future generations. Modernization and renovation of the museum space and renovation of the museum expositions will provide prerequisites for the presentation of the cultural values ​​of the museum in front of a wider range of stakeholders and to organize various events and exhibitions that attract new audiences. For the successful implementation of the project it is planned to implement key activities that will lead to the achievement of the set goals and results. The partnership with an organization from Norway will contribute to this. The following main results will be achieved within the project: - Strengthening the role that culture and cultural heritage play in local and regional development with an emphasis on employment, social inclusion and cultural entrepreneurship; -Participation of social, ethnic and cultural minorities and groups in cultural activities and improving their access to culture. -Creation of conditions for improving the access and popularization of the cultural heritage among the local communities. The implementation of the project activities will follow the principles of good governance, sustainable development, long-term economic growth, social cohesion and environmental protection.
