Description

This project aims to elaborate the technical documentation for the modernization of a communal road that connects Corbești , where a marginalized group of 160 Roma people live, with the rest of the local community.
On the medium term project promoter will facilitate obtaining a non-reimbursable financing using the documentations,  in order to create on a long term a basic infrastructure, necessary to ensure equal opportunities among people belonging to marginalized groups, respectively to ensure access to services  for people belonging to vulnerable, segregated groups.

Summary of project results

The project proposes to create a solid basic infrastructure in order to offer the chance to disadvantaged and vulnerable people to reintegrate into society. At the same time, the project aims to reduce socio-cultural marginalization by ensuring the access of vulnerable and marginalized people, regardless of nationality and social status, to basic services.
By providing basic services at the local level, people belonging to marginalized groups could benefit from basic services that will facilitate their reintegration into society, reducing the segregation of marginalized groups, thus contributing to reducing the risk of relative poverty.
Following the investment proposed in this project, vulnerable and marginalized groups living in Corbești will benefit from basic services, by ensuring the improvement of the quality of basic infrastructure and increasing equal opportunities, which will contribute to lowering the degree of social exclusion.

The project supported the elaboration of the technical documentation for modernization of a communal road, documentation necessary for project promoter to obtain financing for the effective realization of the investment.

The project increased the capacity of the local authority to obtain funding for the implementation of measures stipulated in local development strategies.  Municipality developed preliminary technical documentation for an investment objective.
The project will further benefit for community upon submitting the technical documentation for funding from other sources and  implementation of the infrastructure project for which the technical documentation was developed.
