Description

Objectives: to develop and update the educational offer at different levels of education (excluding VET) by developing a teacher training programme, interview/lesson plans and providing a support module, thus contributing to the reduction of social differences (also within the EEA). The problem for teachers is solving difficult educational situations and cooperating with parents (who are also more difficult). The lack of the above-mentioned offer is present at the level of university education and in the offers of teacher training institutions. The project aims to improve skills and competences in the field of teaching effectiveness, teamwork, cooperation with parents, solving difficult situations, conflicts, supporting social-emotional competences of students. The target group includes teachers. Intermediate recipients are students and their parents, whose quality of life will be improved as a result of the development of competence of teachers working with them. The project affects schools, counselling centers, educational institutions. The emphasis is placed on the development of subjective competences, while the educational and life success of the child depends on the development of social and emotional competences. 10 teachers will be trained as part of the project, but its activities will reach a much larger audience (150 participants in dissemination events, approx. 20,000 users of the support module). The activities planned in the project are to improve the quality of life of its stakeholders in the long term.

Summary of project results

The implementation of the project was the result of problems that the partner institutions faced in their daily activities. Each of the participating institutions is involved in educational activities. In their daily activities, STAWIL, PPP and SP began to notice worsening problems related to students'' social isolation, declining involvement in education and worsening psychological problems. At the same time, the partners noted the low availability of materials for those working with children to support children (and their environment) in overcoming difficulties. Despite the systemic changes in schools that occurred during the project period (the introduction of mandatory employment of psychologists in schools), the problem was not solved, and in addition, the project''s partners began to be increasingly approached precisely by psychologists interested in using the results of the project.

The project took steps to update the educational offer by providing new tools for teachers and others working with children. As a result, a course curriculum for teachers, lesson plans, a supporting module and an educational publication were created. The resulting tools are a response to the needs diagnosed at the planning stage of the project, which is confirmed by the great interest enjoyed by the project''s dissemination events.

A previously unplanned result of the project is the development of its assumptions in other activities undertaken by the team of experts involved in producing the results. STAWIL, in cooperation with experts from PPP, in an international partnership, is working on solutions that are, so to speak, complementary to the results of this project - i.e. developing tools for supervision in education.
Confirmation of the importance of the project in the environment related to the target group and final beneficiaries is the active participation of participants during the dissemination conference, as well as the discussion in which representatives of such institutions as the Rzeszow School Superintendency, the Provincial Labor Office and the Marshal''s Office took part.
The implementation of the project in partnership allowed us to look at the problems and solutions from a broader perspective - each partner had a different assessment of the situation and its own perspective (based on everyday experience) on the results being worked out.
