Description

The innovative use of the cultural monument of the Dalešice Brewery consists in reviving the monument by modernising the existing tour route and using multimedia elements to make the museum route more attractive.

The brewery will cooperate with a partner in Iceland on this activity. Due to declining visitor numbers and the increasing costs of running the monument, there are unfortunately no funds left to invest in upgrading the museum route. The project will change the libretto of the tour route and automate the tour circuit with interesting elements focused on perception with all senses. The uniqueness of the exhibition lies in the presentation of the brewing industry in terms of traditional crafts and working roles in the brewery, suitably complemented by cultural activities and fairs, which will be implemented in cooperation with the local theatre association. This will lead to the realisation of live performances presenting individual crafts and work roles. The proposed project also includes activities aimed at organising cultural activities to promote community gatherings. There is no similar museum anywhere in the Czech Republic that presents the craft of brewing in this way.

The project will be carried out with the involvement of partners from Iceland and the Czech Republic, who enter the project either as expert consultants for sharing know-how (Technical Museum in Akureyri) or as the implementers of the cultural activities themselves (local theatre association).

The project responds to the needs of the place and is in line with the priorities of the strategic documents at the local and regional levels.
