The exchange takes places in Liechtenstein (in end of June) and in Vienna (on the day of arrival in Liechtenstein, incl. visit

Summary of the results

The pre-defined initiative provided a student exchange between the Gymnasium Matyaš Lerch (GML) from Brno, CR, and the Liechtenstein Gymnasium from Vaduz, which is organized in the form of series of annual mutual visits. The visit of Czech students from GML to Liechtenstein and Vienna in June 2022 compensated the gap between visits obviously organized in every autumn during the period of Covid-19 restrictions. 40 Czech and 35 LI participants were involved.

As usually,  the Czech Students visited the Liechtenstein Embassy in Vienna and later in the evening they arrived to Vaduz where they met their Liechtenstein counterparts. The students attended classes together and learned about Liechtenstein’s history and the school system. The students participated in a guided tour of Liechtenstein, undertook joint hiking, visited the National Museum, the Art Museum, the Treasure Chamber and the Parliament in Vaduz.

The joint concert was open to the general public and was well visited. In addition both schools reported the exchange on their websites and the Matyaš Lerch Gymnasium published a report about the exchange in their yearbook. Three videos incl. sound tracks from joint activities are available on YouTube.
