Summary of the results

A report on increasing the competences of employees of the International Center for Education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust at the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum in Oświęcim was developed. As a result of the conducted workshops, the indicator in question reached the level of 95%, which translates into the success of the action.

The Norwegian partner - the Center for Holocaust and Religious Minority Studies - completed its part of the project according to schedule, which consisted in creating digital technology in the field of education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust based on the effects of cooperation resulting from this project.

Using a digital distribution solution, accessible on visitors’ mobile phones or tablets, a digital path was created, in which selected objects in the exhibition are linked to personal stories presented in both video, photos and text. The path leads visitors chronologically through the history of the Holocaust and Norwegian Jews during World War II. The solution allows for the exploration of different topics and the engagement of visitors through digital tools and interaction possibilities.
