Summary of the results

The ooperation between Lublin, the European Youth Capital 2023, and the EWC has significantly changed the way young people engage in Lublin, empowering them to actively shape their city.

The Creation of the first youth space "Hej!" gave young people a dedicated place to meet, study, integrate and build community. Its success led to the creation of seven more spaces, creating an innovative network accessible to young people from different districts. This network has become unique both in Poland and in Europe.

The School Participatory Budget has given students a real influence on their school environment and taught practical democratic principles. Over three editions hundreds of student-designed projects have been implemented, giving young people valuable experience of planning, democratic decision-making and responsibility.

The Youth Information and Development Centre has become an important hub for personal and social growth, extending its reach to smaller towns around Lublin. Youth from different communities have gained easier access to educational opportunities, internships, volunteering and civic initiatives.

The Cross-Border Cooperation Congress made a significant contribution to the development of youth work, as well as to the networking of young people and youth workers. International exchanges provided young people with valuable inspiration and contacts. Study visits within the initiative influenced, among other things, the development of Lublin''s youth policy.
