Description

The main aim of the initiative is to establish new and develop existing business relations and cooperation among Polish and Norwegian entities active in welfare technologies, particularly e-health services providers and medical devices manufacturers. The event will take place on-site, on March 24th, at the Salmed 2022 trade fair in Poznan, Poland. There are two types of planned activities. The first one is the seminar with: presentations of medical products and services market opportunities in Poland and Norway, insights on quality and safety standards and new regulations for the industry

Summary of the results

PARP, with Innovation Norway (partner institution), prepared and implemented "Polish-Norwegian Medical equipment: technological progress & legal aspects" - the bilateral event during the Salmed 2021 trade fair in Poznan, Poland. The event took place on 24th March 2021 and had an on-site formula with the physical location at World Trade Centre in Poznan, just next to the Poznan Trade Fair where the Salmed trade fair has been located. The event agenda consisted of a 2-part seminar session followed by direct meetings among participants from Poland and Norway.

The exchange of current expert knowledge and experiences of Polish and Norwegian actors on the Polish & Norwegian medical markets'' potential is the main result of the event. The seminar involved 7 speakers (1 from Norway) engaging in discussion with the participants. The topics undertook e-health research, regulations in the medicine-related industries, med-tech startup development, as well as two presentations on best practices of Polish-Norwegian cooperation. background for the future. The event was attended by 56 people, including 43 participants representing Polish and 12 representing Norwegian institutions.
