Summary of project results
The biggest problem during the implementation of the project were delays in the payment of tranches by the Project Operator. The beneficiary had to commit funds significantly exceeding the assumed financial own contribution and had to delay the payment of part of the liabilities until the next tranche was received. Ultimately, these problems did not affect the course of the project and all activities were carried out according to the schedule.
The project includes concerts of independent Polish and Icelandic bands, dance theater performances and literary and musical performances, as well as seminars and educational activities. ACT IN_OUT is also about mutual discovery of what unites us culturally and what makes us different, and turning it into artistic value.Events as part of ACT IN_OUT took place in 2022 and 2023 and were divided into three sections: theater - coordinated by Ola Shaya from the CHOREA Theater, music - led by Basia Neugebauer from Fabryka Sztuki and artistic residencies - organized by Rafał Kołacki. The project coordinator on the Icelandic side was Wiola Ujazdowska.
Thanks to ACT IN_OUT, 22 concerts, 6 artistic residencies and 2 performances were held: a dance theater performance and a musical and literary spectacle. Project participants visited 3 countries: Poland, Iceland and Norway. The project''s achievements were summarized in 4 online seminars conducted in November 2023. Coordinators and artists had the opportunity to share their experiences with each other and with all guests intending to undertake a similar initiative in the future.
