Description
The aim of the project is to create a postgraduate education program dedicated to representatives of the tourism industry who will find themselves in the new post-covid reality. The study program will take up issues related to cybertourism, the use of the local cultural code for product branding and marketing, cultural pre-orientation and security in the field of organizing tourist events in a post-pandemic reality.
As a result of talks with the representatives of the industry (guides, hoteliers, travel agencies owners), the need to develop a product increasing the competence and knowledge of sector representatives was identified. As part of the project, project meetings will be carried out in various regions of Poland, during which the needs of the tourist market and industry will be diagnosed. As a result, recommendations for diagnosed expectations and problems will be created, depending on the specificity of the region (questionnaire surveys - minimum 900 and interviews - minimum 36). Thanks to meetings with representatives of the industry and specialists from a given area (at the branch of the Polish Chamber of Tourism) 9 regions will be analyzed in total. The project will include sessions with foreign centers (embassies, consulates, Polish institutes), analyzing, from the perspective of international experience, the problematic issues of the proposed postgraduate studies (identified in the research and by cooperating experts). In the course of work, all necessary materials will be created and epublishedt. The effects of the project will be presented at the summary conference (for about 120 people). Thanks to the implementation of the project, the industry will receive an in-depth analysis of needs and an indication of development directions. The resulting products will be a response and offer to the needs and will give a chance for development in line with the diagnosis.

Thanks to the exchange of experiences during many hours of off-site meetings with the participation of members of the project team and representatives of the tourism and event industry in PIT centers in Łódź, Gdańsk, Białystok and Warsaw, extensive review material was obtained, which significantly enriched the report on the state of the tourism industry in the post-pandemic period.
An additional result is the readiness and plan of cyclical, annual meetings of representatives from four interested areas to reflect on current needs, correct the directions of development and cooperation in the field of updating information about the industry, data analysis, as well as education towards supplementing human resources of professions related to the industry.
