Summary of project results

The project was aimed at developing mobility with Donor countries, restoring students exchange and initiating cooperation with new institutions from Iceland.

The project involved 13 people from Poland and 15 people from Iceland. Two students mobilities were possible to realize – mobility to a college in Norway, 3 training mobility, 12 visits to conduct classes and 11 to complete training. Students participating in mobility for study are from Computer Science faculty. 4 academic Staff and 2 staff from administration participated in the project. Incoming mobilities include 3 staff from the University and 12 staff from enterprises.

Main results of the project are: new students mobilities in Scandinavia – students seldom choose this direction in Erasmus; collaboration in subjects, which are important for both sides – e.g. new specializations, helping refugees from Ukraine, good practices in the field of innovative education, inclusive education etc. The project enabled to plan the following stages of cooperation – visit of representatives from a new partner institution, developing an issue of education by sport, planning new specializations or transferring good practices in terms of helping refugees from Ukraine. Students participating in the exchange decided to continue their career abroad.

Summary of bilateral results

Benefits resulting from cooperating with institutions from Donor-countries are above all: access to a high level education, practical knowledge and good staff resources. For the students it is also an opportunity to spend a semester in a modern campus, get to know a different culture, beautiful nature and people from all over the world. Previous cooperation with two universities included the implementation of a project from the previous call for applications. The cooperation was going well, although the timing of its implementation was unfavorable - pandemic, outbreak of war in Ukraine, travel restrictions, necessity to resign from some activities, increase in travel costs - ticket prices, accommodation, etc. Partners actively participated in the recruitment of candidates for departures/arrivals , selecting the topics of training/lectures, preparing documents, etc. Domestic institutions did not participate in the project and the involvement of foreign institutions was sufficient.
