Description
The title of our project is "Building a strong, global Institution of Higher Education" and it aims to equip Gdańsk Tech employees who directly or indirectly deal with the promotion and marketing of universities and the recruitment of students from abroad. The University Promotion Department specializes in national activities and all activities are directed mainly at this market. Gdańsk University of Technology as a Research University decided to strengthen its position also abroad through various activities. Therefore, a one-man foreign promotion division needs support in building the foundations for an international promotion strategy and for its implementation.
We invited Keystone Academy Solutions to the project, with which we have been cooperating since November 2020 as part of the recruitment-promotional portal. We set up the participation of 3 trainers who have been dealing with the subject of online promotion and marketing on foreign markets for several years. They train universities from all over the world on a daily basis in a given subject and follow new trends in this field on an ongoing basis.
The training will cover such topics as: Social Media in communication of Higher Education, How to build a strong strategy for international promotion, How to build effective communication with a foreign candidate, etc. The training will involve active participation of participants through group tasks and filming recruitment.
The benefit of participating in the training will be the acquisition of new skills and competences in the field that needs educated specialists, Internationa Office will gain a support network from employees from the Departments, and GUT will build a strong global brand according to the latest trends.
Summary of project results
Project promoter achieved targeted indicators and goals of the project. The intensive training was positively evaluated by its participants and promotional activities were widely disseminated therefore the positive effects od the project are likely to continue after the funding period.
