Summary of project results
The main activity in the project was training, the aim of which was to raise the qualifications of teachers and teachers of the Community School in the sphere of better support for the individualized development of students. This training was an important element of the development of the teaching staff in the community School. For 3 years now, the teachers and teachers of this school have been intensively developing their skills and improving their professional qualifications. The training conducted in the project allowed us, in accordance with the assumed plan, to go further in terms of the educational needs of students and our ability to respond to them.
The training was preceded by a preparatory period - language support, work with trainers, diagnosing and detailing our needs.
The preparatory period was followed by the main part of the project, which was an intensive five-day training with two coaches from Iceland. The COVID-19 pandemic made it difficult for us to work in the direct training system and, with the consent of the institution administering the project, the training was a hybrid. The trainers connected with us online from Iceland and we - 15 representatives of the staff of the Community School - worked together at the school.
The training program comprised, on average, classes from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, and its program corresponded to the goal of the project - improving the qualifications of the staff with a better diagnosis of individual educational needs of students.
