ZST in Czartajewo would like to raise the level of implemented practices, improve the process of their organization, documentation, evaluation of the effects of practical vocational training at the school and participant level. In addition, we would like to raise the awareness of employers and learners in the field of vocational internships. Thanks to the implementation of the project, it will be possible to eliminate the limitations affecting the quality of vocational education in the School and in the county. The aim of the project is to develop an effective system of organizing apprenticeships at school with the use of an apprenticeship service platform based on an online training and evaluation platform. From the point of view of the project''s objective, it will be important to adjust the results to the expectations of the labor market, the organizational capacity of the school and the requirements of relevant laws and regulations, including curriculum of education at the Technical Schools. The material effects of the project will be directed to key professions from the region. As part of the project, innovative apprenticeship programs (AP) for 8 profiles will be developed in working teams consisting of representatives of employers, a vocational school and project partners. The solutions will significantly improve the quality of apprenticeships, including, in particular, the possibility of faster and more effective practical apprenticeship by learners. The developed results, including in particular the apprenticeship service platform, will enable expansion by new profiles and industries and the inclusion of new employers in the project.

Summary of project results

The most important motivation for implementing this project was the need to improve the process of organizing practical vocational training in our school based on a tool integrating the expected learning outcomes and procedures for cooperation with entrepreneurs. The applicant has identified a significant problem with regard to the effectiveness and quality of apprenticeships organized in the region and their joint coordination by Vocational Schools based in the Siemiatycze county. ZST in Czartajewo would like to raise the level of implemented practices, improve the process of their organization, documentation, evaluation of the effects of practical vocational training at the school and participant level. In addition, we would like to raise the awareness of employers and learners in the field of vocational internships

As part of the project, we completed: 2 IOs, 1 project meeting and 1 dissemination event. A detailed description of these activities can be found in other parts of the report. Outside the main activities of the project there were also activities related to project management, organizational, financial and legal issues, as well as issues of promotion and dissemination of results. All materials produced had a major impact on the main goal of the project. As part of the project, we tightened cooperation with companies from the region and made it possible to comprehensively demonstrate the importance of this process, the specificity of a given profession and fully conscious participation in the process of acquiring qualifications by students. The project results create an effective link between educational institutions. and employers and facilitate a coordinated approach to on-the-job training.Following products were created: IO material effects in the form of a document containing substantive studies, text materials, as well as the platform itself in an interactive form available at: http://czartajewnorway.edu.pl and the accompanying documentation (technical, functional, instructions). In addition, the results include: tools and documents related to project evaluation, progress reports, reports of substantive teams, time sheets, notes, attendance lists, photo documentation. Soft results include: acquiring qualifications by platform users, learning about the culture and practices used in partner countries, increasing motivation to further education. among users.

The implementation of the project allowed for the modernization of education in our school through the digital transformation of processes related to the organization of internships, professional learning and communication with companies. Systematizing and unifying the processes of defining and verifying the learning outcomes gives better control to both the Head of School, coordinator of practices of this process at school and for teachers verifying the acquired knowledge. Covering all profiles and the possibility of scaling the platform we are able to improve the situation. 120-140 students can complete practics every year via the platform.

Summary of bilateral results

Throughout the entire project implementation period, we had constant contact with the Norwegian partner, who not only cooperated in the field of IOs and organizing study visit in Norway, but also shared his experience from the VET market in Norway. The Norwegian partner is part of a larger education group also operating on education markets in Sweden, Finland. Without the help of our Norwegian partner, we would not have had a chance to get to know that practice market so well. Partner implementing its educational projects got to know this market from the inside, thanks to which he introduced us to the process of not only the functioning of the education and training units but also difficult beginnings and formalities related to starting such a process. Without the participation of the Norwegian partner, we would not have a chance to establish effective communication and cooperation with a Norwegian school similar to ours. Of course, just getting to know the specifics of the education market and the dual system in Norway was not the most important for the success of our project, what turned out to be valuable was the competences of the Norwegian partner''s employees in the field of management projects, including projects in the area of IT and related processes with the development of an information tool. An additional value of cooperation with the Norwegian partner was delegation to co-operation for our project, also an employee of Polish origin who has been living in Norway for years, who was a very valuable source of knowledge about Norway and its education market. At the moment, we do not plan to cooperate with a Norwegian partner, but we do plan to cooperate with institutions with which we have established cooperation thanks to the Norwegian partner. These are schools from Sweden with which we plan to jointly apply for funds from the Erasmus+, KA2 Program.
