The project entitled "Norautron and the Secondary Technical School of Electronics - the way to cooperation and exchange of good practices" arose out of the need for the development of the Applicant Institution, ie the school. The project involves a study visit to the Norautron company in Norway, as part of which the following activities will be undertaken:
• familiarizing participants with the company, its infrastructure and machine park,
• learning about the technologies used in production processes,
• getting to know the network infrastructure,
• getting acquainted with modern research, diagnostic and cooperation methods that will allow to modernize the teaching and research potential of the Secondary Technical School of Electronics ,
• talks about further cooperation under various EU projects, e.g. Erasmus + and the possibility of student internships and apprenticeships,
• exchange of experiences and establishing cooperation within the framework of education in vocational English,
• broadening the knowledge in the area of planning and organizing the personnel management process and project management,
• getting to know the region of the Host Institution and the culture of the country,
• building intercultural relations
Summary of project results
The aim of the project carried out by the Electronic School Complex together with the Norwegian Host Institution Norautron was to improve the professional competence of SEE teachers and establish long-term cooperation. During the Study Visit, the participants became acquainted with the infrastructure of Norautron Norway AS, visited the factory, learned about the testing and diagnostic methods used at the plant, learned about the history and structure of the entire company and areas of activity, became familiar with Norautron''s network infrastructure: office software, LAN, WiFi networks, devices used at the plant, transmission media. The objectives of the project were fulfilled 100%. Currently, the school is conducting a pilot project in which the students of the SEZ electronic profile class carry out part of their practical classes at Norautron. A very important activity disseminating the project on the scale of the school and local community was a summary meeting, to which the Zduńska Wola Starost, Deputy Starost, Head of the Department of Education, and a representative of Norautron Zduńska Wola were invited. Local TV station ZwMedia was present at the meeting and broadcast a report on the meeting and an interview with the project coordinator. The institutions are currently discussing further cooperation and long-term activities.
Summary of bilateral results
During the implementation of the Study Visit, the participants and the Host Institution fulfilled all their obligations, and their cooperation was evaluated as high as possible.
