Description

Implementing a project that develops inclusive education and child well-being education is particularly important now for 2 reasons. Firstly, there is a need to increase physical activity among children and young people - to prevent civilization diseases e.g. caused by lack of movement. Poor health is one of the causes of social exclusion.
Secondly, the prolonged period of online learning, is also not conducive to high physical activity and at the same time contributes to the social isolation of students.
During the pandemic, children and young people''s learning is based on activities delivered via the Internet. Most students had very limited direct contact with school, teachers and peers for a year. Schools and the Board of Education are warning that several thousand students have "dropped out" of the education system altogether due to lack of equipment, limited access to the Internet (in the early stages of the pandemic) and lack of motivation, mental problems and poor learning conditions at home [https://edukacja.dziennik.pl/aktualnosci/artykuly/8018009,dzieci-znikaja-system-nauczania-edukacja-nauka-koronawirus-pandemia.html].

Summary of bilateral results

The trainers for the training were two regional representatives from Norway''s "Nordland County Council": Knut Berntsen and Bjørn-Are Melvik. They have experience and competence in working with children and young people according to the idea of frilufsliv. The cooperation was successful, as evidenced by the positive results from the participant satisfaction surveys and the evaluation surveys on the cooperation completed by the trainers. In conducting the satisfaction surveys, a method of collecting information in the form of a questionnaire was used. As many as 28 respondents, or 70% of all participants, felt that the training met their expectations 100%. The lowest result was 79% and concerned only one person. The average level of satisfaction was 92%. In carrying out the evaluation on satisfaction with cooperation, the method of collecting information was used in the form of a questionnaire containing a rating scale from 1 to 5. The trainers gave the same answers, obtaining 14 points each, resulting in a 93% satisfaction level with cooperation. What''s more, the trainers expressed their desire for further cooperation with the applicant in the future.
