Summary of the results

The result of negotiations with the Ministry of Justice and Public Security of Norway was an agreement regarding the possibility of holding the 4th meeting of the SYNERGY networking platform in Prague in autumn 2019 as a side-event of the international conference on the prevention of domestic and gender-based violence organized by the Office of the Government, the Department of Gender Equality. The initiative also contributed to further strengthening of synergies between the programmes comprising programme area Domestic and Gender-based violence. Exchange of experience and systematic transfer of good practice (not only from Norway) and capacity building in the area of creation and implementation of integrated policy measures in a comprehensive approach to violence against women under the Istanbul Convention within the platform will have a positive effect on the preparation of grant calls in programme area 22 in the Czech Republic.
