Description
Our organization has more than 1000 employees and 50 centres but there is no software to connect all processes in these centres and thus the work of our employees is less effective than it could be in case of a united system. It also requires management of different apps which solve the problem only partially and the cost for their management is not negligible. Our vision is to have one ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to achieve effective management of internal processes in Slezská diakonie but we do not have sufficient expertise for selection of proper one ourselves. Thus we will choose an IT expert who will consult the analysis done in our organization from January to May 2021 during which the processes, outputs and teams in Slezská diakonie were evaluated. Based on the consultations and results of the analysis , he/she will explore the ERP systems market and recommend 3-5 suitable ERP systems for Slezská diakonie. He/she will also suggest criterias and rules for future selection procedure as a next step of ERP system implementation. The beneficiary of this project will be our organization which will be provided with professional help to choose proper ERP system and followingly our employees as the ERP system will make their work easier and more effective, it will lower their administrative burden and the costs. They will get easier access to all necessary data. We will also prevent duplicity of work, the employees will not have to double check and correct data in different systems and the processes will be protected from banal mistakes.
Summary of project results
Without expert help and IT support of an expert who prepared a tender for new ERP system for our Slezská diakonia we wouldn’t be able to access the functionality and suitability of our future system. SD is ready for the new tender in case of next call for proposals to buy the ERP system for our organisation, we know what to focus on what is important and must not be forgotten according to the prepared documentation.
