Description

Through this project,  teachers, tutors will have the chance to accumulate knowledge, ability and competence and then to improve the instructive-educational process through modern methods in the activities carried out in the technological laboratory and hours of practical tools. The objectives of the project are:

O1, Development of competencies and abilities in the elaboration of a CDL and a training agreement.

O2. Equipping tutors with personal and professional development skills of students and integrating them into the workplace.

O3 Development of professional competencies necessary to obtain a level 3 qualification

A number of 10 people will participate in this project. The study visit will take place in Cyprus.

    The project carries out various activities:

-debates on the importance and involvement of economic agents in carrying out practical training and improving the quality of learning

-methods of good practice in Cypriot vocational schools to develop and improve our teaching methods

-collaborative workshops between the economic agent and teachers

-workshops in order to design a Local Curricula and a learning agreement between the school, student, economic agent

Following these activities we expect to obtain the results:

-modern methods used in conducting practical training classes

- a better understanding of students'' training needs

-a better development of the practical training stages by using the deformation agreements between the educational unit, the economic agent and the student

- experience in tutoring activity

Summary of project results

The objectives of the project, which were presented in the application quite generally, were met satisfactorily by the fact that the project generally carried out the proposed activities and achieved results of satisfactory quality.
• All 6 teachers participating in the study visit declared that they developed skills/competences.
• The 4 representatives of the partner economic agent participating in the study visit declared that they have developed skills regarding the organization of students'' internships.
• A total of 10 people participated in the study visit. In the application form, it was specified that 7 people from the school and 3 people from the economic agent will participate in the study visit. One of the VET teachers left the school and was replaced, with the OP being informed by a representative of the economic agent.
• Only 98 students (52.97%), out of the total number of 185 students in the VET classes, declared that they obtained better learning results during the internships than in previous years.
• There are no Roma students in the school.
Tangible results :
• revision of the Local Development Curricula existing in the school, Lubrication systems, which is addressed to students from the professional XI class,
• a completed Learning Agreement aimed at ensuring a transparent and efficient preparation of the internship period at the economic agent and ensuring that the student receives all the information necessary to ensure the necessary professional skills
• Curriculum auxiliary / Practice notebook that supports students, teaching staff and practice tutors from the partner economic agent, in order to obtain learning results for the students who carry out internships at the economic agent. -revision of the CDL existing in the school,, Lubrication systems, which is addressed to students from the 11th vocational class, the mechanical field and which gave us the chance to improve the reorganization in the practical activity through the examples of good practice from agencies.
The project led, to a certain extent, to the improvement of the applicant''s collaboration capacity at the European level and may lead to the continuation of cooperation with transnational partners through Erasmus+ mobility, having also the premises of Erasmus accreditation. In general, the project activities were carried out as presented in the application.
