Description
Spirála Ostrava, is a major provider of social services to people with mental illness and employment in sheltered conditions for people with disabilities in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The aim of the project is to analyse the current status data security, after that take measures to improve the situation and take care regarding one of the possible risks to the long-term sustainability of the organization. Measures will be taken both in the area of technical support and in the asrea of prevention on the part of the company''s employees. The project will revitalise the non-profit organization Spirála Ostrava inthe digital area and thus help to sustainably support people with mental illness and other disabilities in Ostrava and its surroundings.
Summary of project results
Thanks to the implementation of the project, we looked at the postponed topic of securing our data and started not only analyzing the software, but also an overall audit of our digital readiness. The training of employees in the field of digital security will become a regular part of our practice, and we know what skills we must demand from employees in this area. We set other goals for ourselves in the long term as well. Further improvements in this area were paid for from other grant titles (eg data backup via the Acronis application), the acquisition of better equipment - we have laptops and smartphones planned for our next fundraising activities.
