Description
Olsson Green OÜ is an Estonian company developing inverter battery banks. Inverter battery banks efficiently combine the operation of the electricity network, generators and solar panels and store electricity. Inverter battery banks create a comprehensive micro-grid with energy storage, which helps companies meet the higher energy needs of peak consumption. The created solution helps to save money by saving energy at a more favourable stock exchange price and allows companies to continue operating even in the event of a long-term power outage. Users of the inverter battery bank will be able to achieve maximum energy savings and efficiency in the company by applying the energy already stored at the peak of power outages and consumption. This avoids the cost of purchasing large diesel generators and building powerful power lines. As a result of the project, prototype devices for new products will be completed. As a result of the project, Olsson Green wants to enter the market with inverter battery banks in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Scandinavia, offering companies a more environmentally friendly and cost-effective solution to dealing with power outages and temporary power problems.
Summary of project results
Due to the early termination of the project, some of the project''s activities will not be implemented and the results will not be achieved as planned - the environmental impact and economic impact of the project have not been achieved, half of the social impact has been achieved with 6 jobs created. The Implementing Agency has taken an independent expertise for evaluation of the project results, which have confirmed that the results are clearly identifiable and viable components of the projects have been completed.
