Description
The purpose of the 3-day long bilateral meeting with partners in Iceland is to iniate cooperation with organizations and publishers whose task is to present Icelandic literature both in Iceland and abroad.
During the meetings, the first sketch of the Icelandic program line for the Authors’ Reading Month will be created. This will be followed by the debate with the co-organizers with the outcome of a final list of 31 writers who will participate in the festival directly. The role of the Icelandic partners is pivotal in this phase of planning because of their irreplaceable role in the knowledge
Summary of the results
The 3-day long bilateral meeting with partners took place according to the plan in Iceland in November 2019. The cooperation with organizations and publishers whose task is to present Icelandic literature both in Iceland and abroad was initiated and the first sketches of the Icelandic program line for the Authors’ Reading Month were created.
The meeting with both icelandic partners was consider beneficial, further steps with specification will follow.
